Out for camping but may still make it for a day ride if I'm done prepping my bike for an upcoming Death Valley trip.

Not sure if I can make this as I work through Saturday and have commitments on Sunday....it is Easter you know. But I may be able to take Friday off and join in the fun.

Here's what things look like just north of Prineville today:

Looks good at Trout Creek, but I'm betting it's still white-covered roads in the Ochocos to get there from Prineville side...

Stupid question... Could a huge class A motorhome make it to this camp ground and have a place to park?

You'd have to center it somewhat in the group parking area we're at,
but I don't see any reason why not.....
Except maybe the 27-GSA-tanks-of-gas (deisel?) It'll take to get you there

Well now, there were several tin teepee's there last year... one more would be great.

... and by renting out warm bunks, the fuel tank would be full for the trip home.

Bring it on!

Yep, but get there early on the 28th. Big vehicles last year:
- Two truck campers towing trailers
- 5-6 trucks with trailers
- 1 medium Toy Hauler
- I think there was room for a couple more, but probably could have doubled up a bit more as well. There were sites down the campgound also, but not sure how "long" they were.

I'm planning on hauling the truck camper over from PDX by mid day on the 28th. Zed better beat me over there like he did last year cause otherwise I got my eye on "his spot" ;)

Scott, Scott, Scott.... You should know better than to challenge a retired guy in a race for a campsite Besides, I took the worse spot so no one else would have to suffer
