Paperwork for new bike
Another question since you folks are so helpful...
I like to have all the pertinent paperwork for new bikes and think its good to have whenever trying to sell/potential warranty work. On my 12 990R the only paperwork I received from the dealer was there invoice but the manual says I should have gotten a delivery certificate and the service record. I called and asked and they didn't seem to know what I was talking about. Both of my 1200 GSA bikes came with this type stuff without asking. Is this typical? Thanks again all -

A pic of what you should have.. (copied from Ebay so not for the 990)
Did you get a tool kit? owners manual and black owner's carry case. parts lists for chassis and engine The delivery sheet of which you speak has a number on it that allows you to log in to KTM and check service bulletin status.. I bought an 06 and an 07 KTM.. Maybe things have changed, but not the delivery sheet and owner's manuals! |
