I use ATK bike shoes without tie downs inside my enclosed trailer without issue.

That is a neat idea, and a stupid amount of money for, what, $40 in parts? Not convenient if you regularly haul different bikes in different configurations. Plus you still need straps on the bars to keep the wheel from banging back n forth right?

same issue with hauling different bikes.

On a trailer equipped with etrack, a solution around these problems is to use 2x4 clips and bolt the chock to a board so it can be moved around. or just 2x4s with a recess for the front wheel. simple, and cheap.
