I haven't tried one, but this looks like the easiest/ cheapest solution to the problem. If it gets clogged, pull it out, shake off the crap and stuff it back in. I may have to look this up and see if it can be made to fit. |

nothing exact
I emailed Scott at CRF stuff. He has the ADV himself.............but nothing he sells fits.
" I checked on the KTM ADV fitment and the KAWI filter is very close. THe OD is about .010-.020 too large, I ca force it into the tank and it will seat, but the problem is that now the ID is too small for the KTM gas cap to fit into. It might be possible to remove the flange on the Splitstream, open up the ID someway and figure out a way to retain the filter in the neck of the tank as the flange would have to be removed to prevent leaking. LMK if that's something you are interested in pursuing and I'll take some pics to further clarify. Thanks, " That was the about a month ago. |

Terrific CJ, I assume that the bag will help keep gas from splashing out as well during filling. Good job seeing a need and developing a product. I will take two.

If anyone has one they want to send in or call with filler neck dimension specs, I could take a look at it.

fuel 'filtering'
I have not read all these threads so hopefully this isn't something that is one of the items that everyone just 'knows' about.
Does anyone install a filter in the balancer line/cross over line between the two halves (under the battery)? I am thinking just a normal fuel filter. It should then at least filter 1/2 of the fuel going to the fuel pump?
