Eek 1100GS Seat Hardware

I recently bought a 96 R1100GS. Upon closer inspection of the rear seat (it was a little wobbly), I found that the latch on the seat was actually a piece of metal clothes hanger and it is broken (clothes hangers aren't exactly high strength steel). Does anyone know where I can get new (or used) hardware for the rear seat?

Specifically, check out the parts fich at this link. It's a great resource for all the parts on your bike. A very helpful link for sure.

Having just put a '95 GS back on the road I can only echo the advice to use MAX BMW for parts. Excellent service - I can get parts from them (on the other side of the continent from me) faster than I can get them from my local, well-known, dealer just a few miles away.....

Enjoy your "new" bike.

Thanks!

Putting it on order today! Thanks for the help. I don't know why it didn't come up when I googled it.
