And this Little Red Piggy went...

...all the way to the barn.

Got the Seat Concepts seat rebuild done before I picked it up. Now the rest of the story...
Got to have a ManRack.

I like Risers. Every time I ride the Haul Road I get an inch shorter.

The new LRP is not only fuel injected, it's water cooled. The Flatland Racing radiator guard was so easy to install even I could do it.

Picked up a Wolfman Tank Bag from AK Leather to carry my stuff.

First impression: I put 18 miles on it for a quick run (no plate yet) to start the break-in. Light, agile, pretty good zip. I only got it up to 50+ on the road out to Kincaid but it had plenty to go and I never reached the 6th gear, running mostly in 3rd and 4th. I'm 5'8" and this is a tall bike. I got the low seat which chopped an inch, managed to lower the front by an inch by raising the forks (what I could get with 2" risers) and have a Kouba link to install which should get another 1.75 inches. Whoever described the skid plate as flimsy was exaggerating - it's made of plastic. An aluminum one from Zeta is on order. Handguards next. All of you are welcome to ride it, but only if I grease the seat first. After all, it's a Little Red Pig.

All right!

Congrats on the new ride! It's about time you upgraded from that GS to a 250. You should do an Iron Butt on it!

Very nice Rog.
I like what you've done.
LRP is gonna be hoot.
Should be seeing her big brother soon.
