Woodly
I have the same poster next to my computer. The artist Roland Davies was commissioned by our Transport Dept to produce some road safety posters in the 1950s I believe and ours is one of them.

Love that picture, always makes me cringe to see that car coming over the hill...

Hey backfill I think I cheated a bit cause I cleaned things up before that photo was taken! Mostly I do try to keep things tidy but not that much so...

I don't know, but if Woodly is single, it's probably the lounge room.

my the truth be told, that work area is in the cool dark basement and my better half just kinda stays upstairs where it's warm and well lit! I guess you could call it the lounge but I think that may imply that there may be lizards around and my balls are not that big! Actually, she keeps them in a jar on the mantle up stairs where she can keep an eye on them!

How did you take the handgrips off?

I'm stubborn as a mule! Actually the throttle side I just took the whole assembly off the bike and set it aside. The left hand was a bit more work. I heated the grip up slightly with my propane torch and then I took a thin screwdriver and worked it about half way into the grip and used some rust buster to soak in good. A little bit of twisting and VIOLA! Off she came, and in one piece too...

Yeah, me too, here's mine (disston said it's because my broom is upside down--I say it's because I'm a P.I.G.):

I would like to have that recliner, however.

If you ever make it out to my place be prepared. My garage is what I call an organized mess. Might not be where it SHOULD be, but I know where it's at. With a Beemer, a Bimmer & a 72" lawn machine it's hard to keep straight. That's my story.

Hey Dave! Been out riding in the nice weather?
As you can see, I have a small project and my old beemer is not really road worthy right now! Hopefully this spring...Give me a shout some time, I would still like to check out your bike!
