It's interesting that The SEC and the Pac 12 both have four in the top ten.

Berkeley? Schools like this make me wonder who they asked, and where. Berkeley's great for a guy who has no pro aspirations. But why ask that guy? What's the point?

I'm befuddled by the results and would like to see the methodology.

If you actually believe that then you are indeed just as stupid as every other Miami fan I've ever met.

The Gators indeed dropped the series, but for financial reasons as they wanted (needed?) to maintain a certain number of home games. Still bullshit, the series should have continued, but worried about competitiveness? you're delusional.

Miami (of Florida)'s days are over.

It may be beaches and bikinis, I dunno. Wasn't before Schnellenberger got there.
Miami (of Florida) is still a name program though. They may never be good again, but they did have an historic run. That has to still register.

Hell, I was a high school football player.....but with no illusions about playing college. If they took a random sample, as opposed to likely Division I signers, who knows what the results mean.

Still interesting...especially with Florida on top

edit...as I just remembered the big dump LSU took in the Peach Bowl...oh well.
I think Clemson beat Auburn 1st week of the season last year. Auburn was aweful last year, so...

Clemson had a good year last year beating Aub & LSU. They get UGA & USCe to bookend this year.

Student Sports surveyed over 2,000 high school football players this year and asked the following question: “If you could sign a letter of intent to go play at any school in the country, where would you go?”
Below are the results based on percentages. Note that the order for schools that are tied is based on actual result numbers. Universities that received votes but fell under the 1% mark included Boston College, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Oregon State, Temple and Virginia.

Hey, Boise State is in the Top 20. Imagine that - a program where if you screw up, you are gone. Maybe theres hope for the younger crowd.

Or...................they really like our new black on black look. Wonder if this survey was correlated with teams uniforms, what the results would be.

SEC media days this week. This is worth a read for a laugh or two.

2013 SEC Media Days questions that won't be asked (but sure should)

By Spencer Hall @edsbs on Jul 15 2013, 2:23p

The that made me laugh..for some reason:

Where do you stand on the only real debate in Tennessee: skunk or possum?

one to Bielema: Does it terrify people that you came from a state with more public drunkenness than ARKANSAS?

Coach Miles,

What sound does purple make? Don't act like you don't have an opinion on this.

Gator concerns for 2013

http://cfn.scout.com/2/1307410.html
Quote:
HOOVER, Ala — Nearly two years ago to the day, I sat in my room at the Wynfrey Hotel, patiently waiting for the SEC Media Days circus to commence. Patient, though troubled by what I saw looming ahead for the Florida Gators.

I summarized my concerns by predicting that the Gators would go winless in October – the only national columnist to do so. With that, a firestorm of hate was unleashed my way; in some cases it was at least artful.

And the Gators went winless in October, losing four straight conference games for the first time since the Carter administration.

FLASH FORWARD

...
