I thought I read in one of the articles about it that Manti said he meet her either in Hawaii or at Stanford or both. If he did in fact say he had met her then he's obviously lying to some degree. As if his draft stock wasn't hurt enough after getting run over in the BCS game now he looks like a total clown as well. Sucks at linebacker and has imaginary dead girlfriend. The Raiders will take him 1st round.

I thought I'd read that, too, and I recall something about his dad saying she'd visited him in Hawaii, or something, and it sounded like more than once...? But, the whole thing makes my brain ache.

Years ago, I came across a little, hand-written sign in the main library at Auburn. It read:

"These shelves, like the stadium seats, are empty. At least we're trying to fill the stadium seats."

Of course, in the same library, 3rd floor men's bathroom, just above the 4th urinal, in the grout between two tiles, someone else had written:

"It's amazing how small people can write"

Speaking only for myself, I could never figure out how small people could even reach the pencil sharpener.
