KS is about as meaningful of a football head coaching job as Duke is. Hell, half the FCS jobs are more meaningful.

I wonder how many red shirts USC has? With the restrictions, I imagine one big selling point is the chance to play immediately.

When do you believe the "near death sanctions" on scholarships began?

I know the mighty Lobos are having a rough season, but I like this Davie guy. I do think he has them heading the right way. Just that the previous "coach" did such a good job of running the program into the rocks that he's having to parbuckle the program.

We have some good Offense- needs work (QB) for passing- I did like what I saw of the back up JuCo kid in the UTEP game at QB.

But no defense to speak of. That is what killed UNM vs UNLV. Absolutely no D.

I see that UGA is favored by 10.5 at UTeast. UF was favored by 16.5 when they played them at home. If you figure 3 points for home field, that makes them equal spreads. Interesting.

UF didn't cover. UGA will.

UF's score was close to the line (14 vs. 16.5), but that game was such a crapfest that I'm not sure that means anything. What I find interesting is that the Vegas boys seem to think that difference between the teams is the same when UGA has generally received much more love in the the press. h

hhhmm UF defense combined with UGA offense would be one hell of team.

As far as covering goes...This is the first week that I picked UGA in the pick-em. I'm 1-1-1 on them so far this year.
