hhhmm UF defense combined with UGA offense would be one hell of team.

As far as covering goes...This is the first week that I picked UGA in the pick-em. I'm 1-1-1 on them so far this year.
Yeah, Vegas is pretty good. I don't think Gurley will play and like everyone else I'm a little concerned about a let down after such a big game with LSU last week. I still think Georgia can and will win by a couple touchdowns.

Yeah, UGA will probably play flat the first half then pick it up in the 2nd.

Vandie giving less that the homefield 3, at 1.5.

Mizzou for the win.

We have some good Offense- needs work (QB) for passing- I did like what I saw of the back up JuCo kid in the UTEP game at QB.

But no defense to speak of. That is what killed UNM vs UNLV. Absolutely no D.

Jurgen,

Talk to me before the 11/30 Boise State game. Should have a handle on our favorite teams by then.

Maybe a friendly wager?

Not much, I think. They huffed and they puffed against Arkansas State. I'd like them to be competitive in the SEC but I think it's a long road.

Those highly touted "5 star" athletes of the Longhorns are having a bit of trouble with Iowa St up in Ames tonight. Truly pathetic showing by the defense, so far.

Think Mack Brown will get fired at the Aimes airport?

Brown will make it to the end of the season, then he's gone. McCoy has no business being on the team. I wonder how many great Texas QBs they passed over to sign him up. Poor QB play has been a problem for the last coupla years and I don't see that changing any time soon, Brown or no Brown.

ISU was screwed. Between the non-fumble call on the goal line and the MANY pass interference calls for uncatchable balls it was the most lop-sided officiating that I can recall ever seeing. Even with that, UTwest wouldn't have won without the Hail Mary TD at the of the half. ISU played tough.

but you'll have to spot me some points... even a weak BSt is a big over match for the Lobos. I fear tomorrow's game vs NMSt is the last chance for a Lobo win this year.

Did I mention that the Lobos are only playing with Offense (without passing) and Special Teams. They have no Defense.

Perhaps we could arrange a merger between our respective teams

Dodds won't fire him. It'll be the first thing the new UT AD does though after Dodds steps down in August. What a shame, I was hoping Dodds and Brown would be there another 10 years.

A couple of interesting early TV games tomorrow. Unbeaten Maryland (a word combination not often used) plays Florida State on ESPN. I imagine come Sunday it will be once-beaten Maryland.

And on FS1 Charlie Weis' 2-1 Kansas JuCo players take on Texas Tech. It's a big game for the big man.

I remain interested in Wazzu despite last week's pasting. If my personal power rankings are correct, the Cougars took a straight shot to the chin from the best team defense in the conference, and UDub is also going to struggle against Stanford.

Stanford-UCLA and Stanford-Oregon are going to be good games. Last night UCLA relied heavily on the legs of Brett Hundley. I wonder if he'll get that kind of room to run against the Cardinal?
