K7, why don't you really tell us why you hate Tennessee! Must be a story there, somewhere.

That was from a Bama site aka http://www.rollbamaroll.com/ I thought it was humorous that there's so much hatred myself.

Did 'Bama fans hate TN as much before Fulmer turned into a rat fink?

Next time I see a "sidewalk alumni", I'll ask him.

I always figured from Alabama was due to the fact that Tennessee fans can afford a higher quality tire on their roof.

High School, not College--- but I think this field is kind of cool.

That said, I'm not sure I'm ready for everyone to have their own decorator designed gridiron.

The best part of the Tenn-Bama rivalry is that each fan base is convinced that the other is a bunch of toothless hillbillies, but they themselves are not.

Oh, and I hear that Nick Saban's wife was seen house hunting in Austin....not that that means anything.....

Looks very cool, but I wouldn't want it to get out of control. I won't watch Boise home games on TV as it is. Live would probably be OK though.

Would and could Alabama offer anything that Texas does and more? I can't imagine those boosters being too happy if he departed. I certainly can see the Shorthorn boosters wanting him, in every possible way.

This could be one hell of a battle if the rumors are true. It's not like college coaching salaries are already off the chart. I can see one of these schools offering 'make it rain' money...should be interesting...

If it came down to a straight bidding war I'm guessing Texas would win. Texas high society are billionaires, tech guys and oil men. Alabama has a few insurance sales guys and a used car dealer or two.

But, if I were in Saban's position I'd play it for more money for myself and my coaches and stay. He has a good thing going in 'bama.
