He doesn't have to worry about his next meal - he'll go back to being a defensive coach again at some lower tier conference. You know.... PAC 12, Big 12, etc.

He probably would have been fine as the head coach at Texas against the inferior competition in the Big12.

Meanwhile, 2 former Big 12 teams, still running Big 12 offenses, are kicking ass in the SEC, having better records than 10 other SEC teams. All this less than 2 years in the vastly superior, world beating SEC.

Who would have figured?

Missouri is a huge surprise to me, especially since losing their QB. My hat is off to them.

True, but Vanderbilt and Kentucky could move to the Big 12 and finish 1-2 for about three years until their SEC shine wore off.

Oh c;mon, that mighty, best in the nation, Texas team would crush them like Gravedigger through a Yugo.

You can add Florida to that Yugo list. With Muschump's contract running through 2017, they're gonna be easy pickin's!

Losing to Vandy? OMG

It's funny. As soon as the only two quality programs leave the "big" "12", Baylor becomes the dominant power in that "conference" .

About a month ago the prevailing opinion was that no matter what, Will Muschamp would get another year. His 11-1 season made sure of that.

Think that's still the case?

Yeah, I think he still get's another year. Even if they lose to S. Carolina and FSU in the coming weeks.
