Geez, you're impatient mate, wanting a reply that fast.

You must be desperate for a decent ride.

So am I lately, but unfortunately it is too far north for me.

I'm sure you will find some company [just go to the local Macca's in the area early in the morning and start chatting to whoever turns up on a bike similar to yours....you are bound to get an invite along with a group before 9:00 am rolls around, works at most Macca's I would think].

How does this sound??

Meet in Ballina

Burns Point Ferry then beach ride to Evans head( tide dependant )

then west to Pacific HWy

Then South to JackyBulbin Road

Then Lawrence Ferry, ( morning Break )

Then South along the River to Grafton.

Grafton to Gwydir Hwy Via old grafton to glenn innes road through Buccarimbi, Dalmorton Etc

East to Jackadgery for fuel. then west to Cangai bridge road

Follow Carnham rd to Clarence way then Coaldale road to Summerland way

Then To Whiporie, then Sectret squirell trail back to Jacky bulbin road if we still have time, if not there's and easy dirt road through.

Anyone else want to come along, more than Welcome, it works out to be about 300kms in a day with fuel stops as required, shouldn't be to hard for all but the GS 1200's on sand.

I`m a Grafton local and without looking on the map I`d say that ride would be more like 500kms. Great days riding :)

I am the type of rider who doesn't set my heart on completing what I set out to do so if we need to take a short cut or two then that's fine, solong as we all had a good time!!!

Cheers for the input!

Evans head tides

Looks like the beach ride might not be good, tide times show high at 12 o'clock. the rocks half way down would be pretty hard and all the beach riding would have to be done in soft sand as it's an incoming tide. I don't mind giving it a go but it would take some time. Maybe we should do the whole route in reverse and do the beach run early evening???
