That does it! I'm getting both the XR250s running this weekend, and we'll do little bike flogging to get your motoskilz up.

After the brick patio and servicing both F650s, that is.

Do you guys have any more spots left? I just got into riding and would love to come even if it's just for some of the trip. Would you guys be starting in Hood River?

any more room for ride?

Hi all, usually just read ride reports here but this ride sounds very fun - I'm an adv beg maybe intermediate rider (on dirt, pavement many years) but I can pretty much roll or fall my way through anything as long as I go slow enough.

I live in Parkdale, about 15 miles south of the Hood. I will send out PMs to everyone soon with address, directions, etc. Our place doesn't exist according to GPS , so don't expect coordinates

I'm Out

Hello Ladies,
I was on the Maybe list, but I need to bow out gracefully. I'm going to be on a ride July 7-15, and then I'll be at the BMW Int'l Rally until the 21st. I'm leaving hubby to run the rental biz, while I'm on the 7-15 ride. I can't run off again that soon. My turn to run the biz while he goes for a ride!

Have a great time, post some pics, and maybe I can catch you next time!

On a side note...what kind of pants are those? (no "ugh" comments from the male peanut gallery...this is a girls' forum after all)

Mrs1911fan
As you can see, I have had a lot of experience picking up my bike. And, I need help sometimes too.

On a side note: they are men's KTM Powerware Pants..... vented
Looking forward to riding with everyone and meeting some new ladies as well!!!!!

HAHAHAHA....I've been reading some of the comments...the only reason my drops are not on this thread is because I carry the camera with me...at all times! I can't wait for this ride!

One thing we don't have to fear

Is that dreaded camera coming out to capture everyone's get offs. I will be too busy trying to keep the rubber side down to take photos of the mishaps. remind me to NEVER ride with Craig. I'm afraid his camera wouldn't make it back home in working order.

No cameras? I always have my camera ready but if the gals attending this get together don't want photo proof of the fun being had I'll refrain from pointing it at people.

Don't worry Shelly, LittlePosum takes great pictures!
I sure hope you all get some great pics of this trip, bikes upright or not!

LB, you know how much you hate the"ADV salute?" I kinda feel the same way about humiliating pictures. So I'll make you a deal...if you take a bad photo of me trying to wrestle my bike out of a mud pit, I won't break your camera, as long as you don't break my finger for giving you the "salute."
