Can anyone tell me if the alloy R90/6 R90s R75/5 fork caps would fit an 1982 R100 fork top

Cant answer your question, but this is the perfect excercise for learning how to use the online parts microfiche, such as at Max BMW: http://www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com/fiche/PartsFiche.aspx
Find your bike, then find the part number of the part you're interested in. Then take that part number, go back to the link above, and do search on the part number, and you'll get a list of all the bike models that use that part.

I don't know if they fit the bike in question but you are talking about the Aluminum fork caps? As opposed to the Chrome plated plastic caps? If they both have the two small pin holes for the tool to remove them they interchange. The Aluminum ones were used until '76 or '76.

I don't think they will, I have them on my 79 /7 but I'm
pretty sure they won't fit the later forks, somebody will be along to correct me if I'm wrong You'll need the black rubber type |

Here is your only decent solution as far as I know... (and the credit goes to some resourceful soul somewhere on this forum but I am sorry to say I don't remember who) Go to Ace hardware and buy some 7/8" Black Nylon Locking Hole Plugs. ![]() They fit perfectly! These are not my pics but I did the same thing and they look great.
