Bought a RZR 570
Bought a returned RZR 570 Trail Edition tonight. Has 10 Hrs on it. Going to try it out this weekend.
Plan on using it to replace my quad for Search and Rescue ground search. I found that some of our members were new to quads and concentrate so heavily on driving that they could have easily driven within 20' of a person and never see them. I hope to now have a passenger who can look around while I drive. I am looking into doors and 4 pt. belts first.

I don't know anything about side by sides, is 570 the engine size??
That seems awfully small for something that size. Cool looking rig tho!! Best of luck with the search and rescue! |

The son and I were looking at the 570. The new engine is reported to be as fast as the 800 and the narrower wheel track lets it operate on narrow trails. Good choice, although a helicopter would suit you better.

+1 on the chopper, Sheriff's dept was able to buy 2 for a dollar each from the military after they had certified for maint and repair.
I did get to train on choppers and took about a 10 minute ride in one. Was awesome.

Sheriff here in town got the same deal. $1 Heli. Goes along with his armored personel carrier.....
Anyhow, a mechanic friend of mine (who does TONS of brake jobs) heard that the rotors were over due and the craft was not airworthy. I asked him if he could just turn the rotors for the Sheriff. ![]() He didn't appreciate the pun. (Heli still flies when the Sherf wants to impress the neighbors
