Probably the best visuals of the region I've seen thus far, dcparks. Really makes me want to get back to Washington.

Great RR

Loved the report, nice pics and a really good narrative. I found myself laughing pretty good a couple of times. Thanks! Oh and the burning of stuff happens out east as well

Question Skull and crossbones cabin

Thanks very much, Outside.

Hey, forgot to ask, does anyone know the story behind "Skull and Crossbones Cabin". East of the WABDR route, on Skull and Crossbones Ridge, 48.7758, -119.8439. The quick stop boys refer to it in their video, linked earlier. I checked it out (no pics) Always wondered.

thanks for posting this. I am getting through the long, cold Portland winter (about 2 weeks ) getting my v strom ready for spring. Lots of farkling and no riding makes Jack a dull boy
but i'll be ready to try and find some of these places when it warms up (from 40 to 50)

Thanks Doc - posting these RRs are a nice way to remember the trips during the long dank winter. Not too far away now though, the daffodils and snowdrops are up here on Vancouver Island. Come spring you are well set up to do the WABDR south to north, then continue on up into BC!
