Thumb Soft sided Cooler

Just wanted to point out a quality product I found. Very useful for traveling on the bike. I've used and destroyed several cheap, cheezy looking soft coolers.
I've looked high and low and finally found a winner!

www.polarbearcoolers.com

These are the thickest, nicest quality coolers I've ever seen. Plus they don't look like a kids lunch pail strapped to the bike.
Use it when you need it, roll it it and stow it when you don't.

I have a 12 pack size and will probably get the sixer size for day trips soon.
No affiliation, I just like quality stuff that works like it's supposed to and like to support folks that provide it! (bonus: made in the USA!)

I go thru soft sided coolers about one every 3 months or so.
They usually start leaking after a week...or less.

Haven't tried one of these Polar's yet....

Only up side to a leaker is that they make a good tool bag!

I got a polarbearcooler gratis at a golf outing and have used it ever since as a tail bag. It's just about perfect since it's large enough to stow groceries or files or beverages of choice and it straps down well on the r12gs tail rack. Have used mine for 6 months now and, while its coloring has faded a bit, it's held up well beyond my expectations and functions as well as it did new. Don't know what they charge for it cuz mine was a freebie, but it's the best i've come across.

Can you see the one in this photo?

I got it as a gift from a close friend a few years ago. They are the greatest. I think you can get the liner replaced if it tears. I have yet to see that happen though. It keeps things cool very long too.

Thanks for the bump! Yes, the coupon code still works.

I've been looking for something like this forever! I've bought several soft coolers over the years, some less expensive, some more, and they all sucked, they all leaked, they all tore, and they never kept ice long enough for my tastes. I hope this works better.

Just ordered one and I even ponyed up for Xeraux to be embroidered on the side.

How can you not buy something from a guy named Strud Nash.

"Who was that man on the GS??"

"Strud Nash, Adventurer!!"

Those coolers look great, I'm going to get one.

I bought the 12 pack. I'll ride with it collapsed, then fill it up when I get to the rally (or other) site.

Even with the custom embroidery, it'll be here tomorrow.
