The "Poor" mans 599GTO?

Over all I like it. Maybe a little busy, probably would look bad ass in black.

how much is a 599?

I'm really surprised they were able to keep the covers on that thing this long.

I see the 7-speed manual retains the dreaded "skip shift" feature.

Why spend beaucoup bux on a manual transmission sports car, just to have the government decide which gear you can select?

I'm sure the ECU hackers are already busy on a fix.

Finally, a real 4+3 tranny.
I agree. Pathetic.

Please make it school bus yellow and clutter up every single car thread in Shiny Things with pics of it too. Bonus points for winter setup.

At least it doesn't make me ashamed of cars my country makes, like GM used to. Like or hate the styling cues, they at least seem to be trying now. I hated the previous corvette, mostly how the rear plastic bowed in when you touched it. I hope that cheap feeling is fixed.

Ford needs to hurry up with the evolution of the Mustang and ditch the live axle. I like how the Mustang looks, they make good engines, the Ecoboost V6, the 5.0, the 5.8 supercharged are all fine. But the suspension is still on par with a pickup truck.

I see a bit of SN94/95 Mustang in the roof lines..

Pics are one thing, seeing it in person will tell the true story

I just have to say this corvette would be a whole lot cooler if it came in a turbo-deisel-injected version. And maybe a wagon/shooting brake version too.

What's not to like, really? I think it looks hot as hell. I'm thankful they finally trashed that 1980s look-and-feel interior on the Corvette.

I think these things will sell like hotcakes. I'll take that Charcoal Grey with some nice tint and a Lingenfelter kit. I would eat supercars all day long at a fraction of the cost.

Yep, it's here, did the big showing at the Corvette Museum....pretty soon I'll be sick and tired of seeing them. They are a dime a dozen around here (check my location)....

Maybe with a 22RE helper engine for the front wheels.
