Laugh Most excellent adventure

What an excellent adventure with the journey being the destination !! with Kroombit closed and Carnarvon a dream mid point - I do not think anyone really cared about where we were going but had an ripper blast and many laughs on the journey to no where in particular. An adventure with the lot ( except snow ) from 230cc to 990cc ( and a nissan) all made to to Taroom and back with out a bandaid being applied to any one (The Kangaroo mark carved up with his front brake disc could have used a few bandaids !!)
With 1425km on my dial and 60 video clips( 28GB) and count less photos I will try to get a full video up of the journey soon. Thanks to everyone who made the journey so much fun, and most of all the biggest of thanks go to Loz and Jen for the the preperation and support of the bestest adventurers of all, and one cannot forget to mention Molly the mascot..
Cheers to all for the best easetr adventure ever !! ( now open the gates to Kroombit for 2014 )

Thanks all for the great w/e

What the others said Thanks to all and especially Dereck the organiser. Had a great time and rode some nice roads and met great people, and a first for me being on a catered ride - thanks ladies for the great tucker. I too had to split and make a run for home on Monday morning (no tickets, but got flashed twice by cop cars coming the other way). Hope all got home safe.

Some random pics and more here

The Canadian tourist (or American terrorist as he was somehow dubbed)

It is a tough life on the trail - lunch on Sunday

top weekend gang

keep the pics comin coz i was a bit slack with the camera so i'm just gonna pinch everyone elses

i've made an executive decision and decided that any ride that i'm organising from now on will be called "DESTINATION UNKNOWN" coz we never get close to where we're aiming but we do have a laugh getting to no where in particular

Well I have finished my 20hr slumber (much needed after all the logging from the lumber jacks).
Another great adventure finished and new friends made along the way to no where in particular.

A great thanks to What's his face for organising one of the most unorganised destinations ever Did you actually ever lead any of your organised ride, just asking

A great thanks to Thelma and Louise for the unbelieveable chuck and bar wagon. I was so looking forward for them to drive Derek's vehicle over a cliff at a proposed gorge somewhere
Next time though ladies a hot brew for everyone when they get up would be much appreciated. Even if it's only for me, so I have to mark you down on this one

Also I don't know why I have a camera.

Thanks to all for making it a memorable Easter weekend, and remember deodorant is not a substitute for mosquito repellent

Thumb Easter weekend

What a great weekend. As previously mentioned it is not the destination, but the journey. This was a fantastic journey, and a great group. Coming from Canada the rain here doesn't worry me because it is WARM. But a suggestion for the others--GORTEX. I was always dry, even in the monsoon that hit.
Thanks everyone, and especially Derek and the ute drivers.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO - what a ride!"
