Postie training

I shamelessly borrowed this from the latest edition of Road Rider
Because I know a lot of posties live here

My training involved following the current guy for a day, then him following me and that was it. It was in Jindabyne so we did a but of everything from sorting RMB's and my own deliveries, delivering parcels and collecting mail from the couple of boxes in town. I had a great time and luckily there wasn't the volume of stuff that city runs get.
"(I could start another bandwidth wasting thread on getting there, but I think I have started enough pointless threads for the year already)"

Why do people think bike riders all like rock'n'roll??

Yep, this article is spot on. Except he forgot to mention the superhuman effort Aus Post go to to pretend to give a shit about your safety while doing all they can to make your job more difficult and dangerous and making it clear that if you can't do it as fast as they expect then you don't belong there...

Apart from that, it's a doddle
