Javits Center Rules????

Anyone know if the Javits center is using metal detectors for entry into the building? I'm coming to the show this weekend and I don't want to get to the door and realize they wont let me in with my handgun strapped to my ankle. Last time I was there, no detectors were in use, but that was about 5 years ago.

Any help is appreciated.

Drop your gun off by me I'll be by the front door sitting on my bike you can pick it up on your way out. Oh if I'm not in the same place when you come out I just ran for a cup of coffee and will be right back.

No metal detectors for the past four years at Javitz.

Hope that thing is a compact. Lest it hold more than 7 rounds...

Hope you aren't thirsty either, can't get a decent-size soda in that hell hole of a city.

It is a compact! holds 6+1. Just enough to shoot my way to safety.

Stay the fuck home if you're so afraid you think you need a loaded weapon to protect yourself at a fucking motorcycle show.

Seriously, now I'm worried about a shootout in the Javitts center. WTF?
Sad thing is I'm meeting a buddy from Allentown at the show and he's probably also wondering if he can "carry" to the show. Nice guy but paranoid as hell.

I prefer the age old rule, better to be caught with it then without it.
