Coleman Survivalcat heater

Hi all,

I'm trying to get my hands on a Coleman survivalcat heater but Coleman stopped doing these a few years ago. Anyone got any ideas where I can get one. New or used, I'm not bothered as long as it still works

Thanks

AB

Yes I think so. Coleman seem only to do large one now. Way too big for a bike pack up

The survival cat is just the right size. Just need to find one now. :(

AB,

Great !! Now I'm wondering where I can find one !! The Meijer page replacement doesn't look too bad, but what's with it standing, pointing straight up in the air ? Radiant heat is pretty much line of sight directed heat - heat the tent ceiling ??

Suppose one could stand over it and use it as a nads warmer.

I have the small cat but usually just use the single Colman burner. I warm things up then turn it off. The cat is just one more thing to pack. The burner is simple and hard to beat at 30$. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0009PUR5E

The type of heater/burner that has a CAT on it burns most of the carbon monoxide up that the open burners produce. Be careful of where the open burner type is used.
I have one of those single burners for traveling. It's well worth the money.
