Montana 650 & ScalaRider Voice Prompts
I have been using a Garmin Montana GPS with the topographical maps for both on and off the bike. It is on the AMPS Rugged mount on the bike. I recently installed City Navigator and was hopeing to utilize the voice prompts for navigation on the bike in combination with a Scala Rider headset. The rugged mount has a 3.5mm audio out cable, but when plugged into the AUX IN 3.5 audio plug, the Scala doesn't detect the voice prompts soon enough to make it usable. I contacted Scala, but no fix offered.
I was wondering if using a Bluetooth Stereo Transmitter connected to the Montana's audio line out and then paired to the Scala would allow things to work properly? Here are a couple Bluetooth Audio Transmitters. Any recommendations? http://www.innovatoys.com/tech-gadge...ransmitter/206 http://www.iogear.com/product/GBMA21...n2crtcbthhshsh http://www.rpelectronics.com/40-bt3-...ansmitter.html Appreciate any input. Thanks |
