Fruita in March? April?

Anyone interested in riding the western slope in March or April? Been thinking about renting a camping cabin for a spring break trip. I don't know anything about the motorcycle friendly trails out there, but like to explore. Mostly into dirt roads, 4x4 type trails, easy single track, and easy quad track.

Because it's cheaper, closer, and has better beer than Moab. I used to go there every spring to ride mountain bikes, and want to explore the area on a motorcycle. Might take the mountain bike along too.

I think you know I was joking, unlimited riding out there for jeep roads and washes if you know basic directions you don't need a map, for ST it gets a bit more complicated...unless you go to Rabbit Valley. There is great moto riding by the 18 road trails as well as by the Loma/Mack Koko stuff.

also, there are some good trails back toward the monument. I rode a technical one in June, Snakebite maybe? Might not be what CJ is looking for, but there was a lot of jeep and qwad track out there too. Have also done some exploring up in Glade Park. No map, just rode what looked like fun, and there was plenty!

My son and I are planning Rabbit Valley the last week of march. Wed-Sat probably. Taking the camper down. We could meet you somewhere. We will be on WR 450's. Or come on out to RV and have a beer!

Fruita is great dirt biking. But, while you're there, take a 20 mile spin through Colorado National Monument. It's spectacular!
