I will tell him the secret. Have him take you out to the bar the first night you meet, drink about $100 worth of whiskey, make you pick up the tab, and then you have to pick his bike up repeatedly the next day as he falls all over the place...does that one sound familiar?
All kidding aside, if this happens in April, i might be able to go. I want to spend more time exploring Rabbit Valley this year, either real riding or tooling around with my boys..as long as i am out, i am pretty happy!

Great time of the year for that area.

If on a little bike, you could ride......Rabbit Valley and a bit of the Koko.....and back.

Coordinates to our camp. We will have a variety of trailers, motorhomes, etc.

total head count in the 16-17 range. If you're in the area, come on by and say hello.

Google maps puts you smack in between the lanes of I-70. I suspect there is a translation error in those coordinates.

I am very likely to be out there on Saturday, and I have no experience in the Fruita area, so I would love to have someone to tag along with.

Any other directions you could share? PM me and I'll send you a phone number or call you....

Thanks!

Sorry, didn't verify coordinates before posting, used what google maps gave me. We ended up camping near the kids track. BUSY WEEKEND. Lots of other motorcycles, quads, and a LOT of MTB folks. Some not so happy with our 12+ trail of riders on western rim.

All in all a great trip though, had an inmate drop by and visit with us for a bit. VERY dry and dusty.
