Albany - Troy NY area question

Me and a couple of my buddies are thinking about taking a trip up towards Albany or Troy area in mid-May. Looking for suggestions on a good campground or something. We are thinking about hauling the bikes up and parking the toy hauler and then riding to somewhere in New Hampshire or Massachusetts, camping there for the night and riding back to the toy hauler the next day. Open to any and all suggestions! Go!

The Ruck

Having gone to school in that area, I will offer one suggestion...

Get yourself some buffalo wings at The Ruck in Troy. Too good man.

Have a good trip!

I stayed at Cherry Plain State Park a little east of Albany last summer for one night on my way to the Bald Mountain Bastards event. Be careful of the NY parks web site. It showed a bunch of available sites and when I arrived there was only one. Lots of kids on bicycles running around, but nice after dark. Nice pizza place a few miles down the road.

Vermont is were you want to ride. NH requires a sticker for any real trails, as well as MA. Vermont just requires a plated bike. There is a lot of good jeep and atv style trails in Vermont.

Moreau St Pk in South Glens Falls. less than half hour from lake George and great riding in Adirondacks and Vt is just over the border.
