Wundlerlich Headlight Guard - is it compatible with Touratech's Anti-Glare guard?
I have the TT headlight guard and the anti-glare guard installed, but it's been a royal pain to clean the actual headlight since the guard isn't easily removable.
I'm consider between getting TT's Headlight Guard Quick Release conversation kit (http://www.touratech-usa.com/Store/1...00GS-Adventure) or the Wunderlich Headlight Guard The local dealer doesn't have the TT conversation kit in stock, so i'd have to wait for it to come in. But they recommended the Wunderlich guard instead. The said that Wunderlich guard is better it folds down (and hence easy to clean), but it's also non-removable (hence not easily stolen). I intend to keep the TT anti-glare guard, so i'm concerned if the Wunderlich guard is compatible fit-wise with the TT anit-glare guard. The main issues aesthetics and functionality. For the Glare guard to work, the Wunderlich guard has to sit flush against the TT glare guard, and also perpendicular to the road. It is also shouldn't fit large the the anti-glare guard. Has anyone installed this combo before? Any words of wisdom to share? I'm not keen to fork out 110+ dollars for the WL kit only to find that it isn't very compatible. http://www.touratech-usa.com/Store/1...-0320-044-0322 ![]() Wunderlich Headlight Guard : #8110141 http://www.wunderlichamerica.com/mot...S/8110141.html ![]()

I just purchased a kit with the reflector guard. Mine has two Zeus fasteners for easy removal to clean the headlamp and the back of the lens itself.
It's made by AltRider. http://www.altrider.com/altrider-lex...200-gs/pid/412 |

IMO, anytime a toolkit needs to be deployed for cleaning headlights, it constitutes a PITA. If my headlights get roosted by tons of mud etc I want to be able to clean them STAT. |

Guys, i respect that each of you have your views on weather it's PITA or not. But let's please keep to the topic. It's not whether you agree with the issue of cleaning. I'm asking for folks who have experience with wundlich and tt to weight in. Peace out. |

I don't have any experience with the TT or Wunderlich items you're asking about, but I'll put another plug in for the Altrider setup. if you're going to end up going with another guard anyway, you might want to consider this kit. The guard has two Dzus fasteners for easy removal/headlight cleaning, and the kit comes with an anti-glare guard made to fit the shield so you get everything you're looking for. They even make a kit that comes with both the Lexan and wire guards, so you can switch off as conditions/riding require. Just my $0.02.
