Pivot Pinion Cover
Been looking for a pivot cover for my GS, just can't seem to find something I fancy. Seen that one outfit offer a black or silver plastic unit which sells for about $20 which just clips in. Looks like with a bit of riding it would pop right out? Anyone got one of those, if so, would you use the same again, or rather go for something made from aluminium with a fastener to keep in place?
If I was back home I'd machine something myself, but I'm in Dubai and the choices are limited to mostly buying in from the States. Appreciate any feedback.Thank you. |

Are you referring to the OE black plastic cap that covers the pivot on the Telelever where it attaches to the engine?
I lost one soon after I bought my bike new. The dealer gave me a new one which I attached with a dab of RTV. |
