I am going to venture a guess that LARR 2013 is not going to happen. I made it to the first one but have missed all the others due to living in India for a while and was hoping to make it this year.
Not that I have any other places to offer but I bet there would be a little better response if the rally was a little more centrally located. Just a thought. If it does happen and I can attend I would be happy to tell stories of riding in India.

I was offering my place as a default. If there's any interest in meeting up somewhere in another middle-ish of the country, I'll try to make it. Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park is only a quick day from here. What about Montana? A buddy of mine has a yurt.

Technically, the Mississippi River is close to the middle of the US, and the farm is about 45 minutes from the Mississippi.

I stand corrected. It seems without the blessing of Nataharley the rally has come unraveled.

You are absolutely right.

Damn that Ken!

If you're wondering what he's been up to, here's what I know: he's eating very, very well.

Please accept my apologies for baiting. In real life, I'm only half as bad as I sometimes sound.

I've asked Misery Goat to take up the LARR organization. Or if anyone else wants it, go for it. It'd be a bummer if the North America based Latin America Riders didn't get together this year.

Nata Harli is back! Long live the Nata Harli!

Sorry, MG, but Ken is in charge again. He'll post up details.

I'm only in charge if who's in charge.

It's officially on

Okay, you FFs, ALARR IV is now officially on. I had to quit my job to get it going but it is now official.

PLACE: Max's Farm (he can give you the details)

DATE: September 13-15.

Actually, I'm turning in my resignation tomorrow and will probably work a couple more weeks unless they show me the door (which is what I'm hoping happens).

So, I'll be checking in a little more regularly from now on.

One thing I could use some help with is getting the word out. Last year I tried making posts in all of the regional forums only to find out that's a big NO-NO on ADV. So if I could have some volunteers to make individual posts on some of the regional forums maybe we could drum up some interest.

Hope to see a bunch of you on the 13th!

Mike,

I quit my job just so the rally would be on and you would have to show up. And, this time I'll bring the Ron Zacapa!!!!!

Actually, I think there will also be some of us who rode in SE Asia the first of the year and we, too, will have some lies stories to share.

Ken

Why don't you throw some details in this spot so folks will realize it's on.

Edit: WTF, when did you do that? When I looked at it it was blank, I posted this, went back and you were one step ahead of me as always.

Sure hope you and Chris can make it it's been too long since we've seen either of you.

Allan, how would mid-Sep work for you? As I told Rick and Chris it's been too long since we've seen you.
