Still have yet to figure out if I'm having some screws/plate removed in VZ in July. So it is still iffy for me but I've always wanted to go to that aerostich rally, just have to check those dates...
Too late for the very boring rally in Duluth but you sure as hell better make the boring rally at Max's farm in September.

We could make it a semi-annual rally -- one that you sponsor in CC and one that Max and I sponsor in Boaz. That way the FFs that don't like Max and/or me can go to your rally and those that don't like you can come to ours.

Oh, wait a minute that means no one will be coming to Boaz.

I certainly would like to come over and meet you guys though, if the timing works out.

I'm pretty busy for most of August, I only have the weekend of 8/3 - 8/4 and the weekend of the VBR open (8/24 - 8/25). August 9-11 is the Symco Shakedown car show, which is a really cool rockabilly reunion and also the first weekend of the Central ADV Rally in Eagle River. The following weekend I'll probably be up in Eagle River for the ADV Rally. The last weekend I have to giude a group on the TWAT route for RIDE Adventures or possibly leave with the CJ Designs crew for his Colorado adventure and the KTM Rally. Busy busy!
So now that it's scheduled for September do you think you can make it? Several of also have ridden "nowhere near Latin America" and will be sharing our experiences. The rally is taking on an international flavor I do believe.

Mike, it's been re-raveled so you sure as hell better put us back on your calendar. I hate drinking Ron Zacapa by myself and I'm sure as hell not sharing it with anyone but you.

I am working on clearing my very very busy schedule so I am 90% in. Looking forward to a nice long ride. I will be leaving from Los Angeles and headed up towards Reno for some fishing first. If all goes well I will leave the Reno area early Sept 11. If anyone is planning on going that direction and would like to ride out let me know. My dates are flexible if that schedule does not work.
See you all there!

Feel free to bring the wrecked KTM.

If you bring a little dirtbike, you can ride it on the dirtbike course. I'll try to get it cleaned up (i.e.: remove the multiflora rose and other brush).

Unless you want to come by and help clean it out?

Don't hold your breath but maybe I'll ride my new to me gl1800 out. I start a new job beginning of Sept., getting away will be very difficult. Chris is still cute, I'm still old.

Probably not as good as Ron Zacapa but I'll hoist a shot or two of this on the 13.

Have fun

Falling Water

I kicked myself last year for not going over to see Falling Water. This year I'm driving over come hell or high water.

I'll be in a 7 passenger Honda Odyssey so if any of you FFs want to tag along you're more than welcome.

Also, I'd love to have someone let me borrow your dirt bike so I can ride Max's course. If that's possible, let me know so I can bring my gear with me.

BTW, I know Daveg is coming and he'll be driving also. He's driving separately so's he can write the trip off as a "business expense"! Yeah, sure. But, I'm sure as hell glad he's coming.

Just figured out it's not "Falling Water" that's close to Boaz but can't remember what the hell it is. Unless, PA is close to Boaz.

What is it I want to see?
