I must pass credit for this one to the old Samuel Peppy's Radio Show which led onto How Green Is My Cactus, the main voice being Ross Higgins (I think that was his name), who was Ted from Kingswood Country.

Nothing has changed. If I don't get pulled at least 3 times by Longreach (coming from the West) I am wondering if I am road kill... Hotel California style.

As Bazza would say,
I was down by Brighton Pier, drinkin' tubes of ice cold beer, With a bucket full of prawns upon my knee, When I swallowed the last prawn, I had a technicolor yawn and I left my mark in ole Victoria!

looks like I have to come fishing here more often not only got a few nibbles but landed a couple as well
Truth of the matter is it doesn't matter where you are there's good adventure riding starting just outside your front door (even S.A.). You just got to get up off your rear end and go find it....for me with having only one leg all trips, even to the local shop are an adventure but for most people a major part of the adventure is actually looking for the road (or Trail) less traveled and discovering whats around you, either by yourself or a few mates and sitting around the campfire after a good days ride....just my two cents worth
