Ok

weather permitting, I am in. I just won't try to ride down the gorge in hurricane force winds or torrential downpour. I had enough riding in severe wind coming back from Hell's Canyon last year to know the DR200's limits.

......here's what we do: (weather permitting)...when they ALL ZIG,we ZAGand take the clean, untouched alleys

There is a Starbucks about halfway.....they don't see muddy pants very often, we could take a break there!

edit: there was this one puddle last year, though....man that was fun! And the weather was actually quite warm.

We grew tired of the "follow the herd" game early on. We actually stopped, looked at the map and ended up on some really nice unused alleys with no traffic. We also ended up at Widmer's tasting room for a break and later hit up Podnahs BBQ for lunch. It was tough but somebody has to do it.

I'll help you pick the bike up if needed, after I get a picture.

Looking forward to seeing you again. I would not worry about the shovel, crossbows or AR-15, it's them damn blackberry bushes with 1" thorns that are a killer. They can swallow a whole bike and rider and you would never get unstuck again.

Day-um Pickle! That's a yammy TDR-250, the most rip-snortingist of all rip snorting 250 dual-sport type thingamajigs ever created in the history of the world... The legends say they have a few equines shy of 50hp at a bajillion revs, which IMHO is about 46hp more then needed to successfully traverse a muddy alley or the woop woops down under

I need to come to the Alley Sweeper....

Schedule permitting ... we're planning on joining this year's Sweeper.

Me: street-legal '12 KTM 350 EXC-F
Her ("Flying Ant"): street-legal '08 KTM 250 XCF-W

We think we'll be fine w/ any mud or puddles.

Cheers! E-Ticket
