Side stand for 2003 GSA
Does any one know if a side stand for a 2001 GS is compatible with a 2003 GSA. I buggered my side stand up in a minor gravity induced issue in Alaska last summer!! You don't know how badly you need a side stand until you don't have one.... especially fully loaded!!!!

Not sure about the 1150, but you can't do it on a 1200. The longer GSA side stand hits the centerstand.

I think the side stands are the same, my 1150GSA sure does lean a long way (to far IMHO), I figured it was because the stand was not lengthened when the suspension travel was.

The part number for the side stand on a 2003 GSA is 46537665503. The part number for a side stand on a 2001 GS is 46532335787 according to Real OEM. So the part numbers are not the same. It may work but may not.

Might have to do the hockey puck mod but would most likely work.

The GSA side stand is longer.

It looks like i bent the mounting bracket and not the actual side stand, I'm hoping the bracket will work, perhaps alittle persuasion may be needed!!!

i just swapped a GSA 03 model side stand to my gs 02 model and it works really well , the GSA stand is a couple of inches longer ,it does just touch the center stand only by a couple of mm , and it stands the bike up at a good angle
