Georgia and T.W.O. - FYI - July 8, 9 & 10th

Dual Sport get together. Ride, camp, eat, repeat.

I'm planning to be at T.W.O. Friday July 8th. Ride after breakfast Saturday all day. Trip to include a visit to Whissenhunt ORV Trails, Suches Creek and more.
Although the BMW Motorcycle owners of Georgia will be camping at T.W.O for their group ride...linky...I gotta jones for a dirt experience and my XR600 agrees.

Post here if you can make it. This is a DRZ, XR, thumper, etc. friendly trip,,, Might not want to ride your GS.

Pending not having to work, I am in for some riding. I, too, crave the dirt experience. Don't think I can camp but if it changes I'll let you know. Are you an early riser? I can meet you up at TWO for breakfast in the am on Sat.

Well, since I've decided to keep the DRZ, I should go run it in the woods to remind myself why I'm keeping it.

I think I should be able to make it.

You trucking your XR up there?

Yes, trucking, unless I decide to leave it at my brothers. Glad you can attend.

Just an idea:

If the BMW folks are gonna be at TWO, we could always head over to High Valley. Or even up to BRMC. Or up to my place. The only downside to the latter 2 choices is that I don't know the forest service roads in the area.

R.A.W>

Trust me, there is great ridding around T.W.O. and they serve a mean breakfast. The BMW group is not a large one, I'm a member.

Admit it, you just don't like T.W.O. ever since that cold night when you brought your summer bag to an October Adv.event.

Nah. I think TWO is fine. And that freezing evening taught me a good lesson!

Even if I had time to make this, ATL PD has the Sherpa listed as stolen and have yet to correct the problem. So, I can't ride it anywhere.

Y'all have fun. Take lots of pictures. Don't get hurt. Yada yada yada...

What does any of this have to do with riding motorcycles at TWO?

Let’s keep this thread motorcycle related. Specifically, TWO and July 9th thru 11th. Thanks.
