05' TTR 250 going Legit'

So we have a trip planned this summer to Buena Vista while the son is at Scout camp. Time to get the wife's TTR 250 street legal. Ordered in the Tusk kit from Rocky Mountain ATV and will start cobbling this together ove the next few nights. Kit looks pretty complete as far as the wiring goes, but it is short on the license plate and inspection sticker brackets, a brake switch for the hand brake, speedo and some added wiring to take advantage of the dual element bulb in the headlight. The mirror is not all that great so I will be ordering some of the Double take mirrors from Neduro.

I will try to take some video as I go since I have just figured out the YouTube thing.

I just bought the Tusk kit for my 03 WR250F. I will be interested to see how it goes for you.

Good luck

So far so good. I am going to remove the on/off switch from the TUSK kit and instead of going straight to the battery with the red/yellow I am going to go to a ignition switch on. I think there is one on the CDI plug. That will be tonight.
