bicycle rack for motorcycle

Has anyone mounted a bike rake on your motorcycle? I have been looking at the 2x2 rack and wondered how well it works. Also if it mounts on the bike if you have the aluminum hard cases on the motorcycle. I have a 2011 F650GS.
