In addition, you don't need to be on a vintage bike to be welcome. Although it's nice to ride one there, all types are welcome - depends on what you have running at the time. I may be on my R80 ST, or maybe the F 650. Just depends from rally to rally. (and which one I have the most confidence in that week )

I gave up the Ducs when I bought the R80. But I sure wish I had the M900 back. I miss that bike a lot. I really wanted to do a Saddlesore 1000 on it before I sold it. One of my fellow instructors at STT completed a SS1000 on a Ducati 916 once. I wanted to add another Duc to that IBA list, but it never came to pass in time.

Phil's too cheap to pay for Yoga lessons, but he has been watching his dog a lot lately.

Um, that's a toughie! There is a National Forest Service campground about 10 or so miles away (on a great road, by the way). There is a commercial campground a couple of miles away, but I think it is one of those "residential" type campgrounds.

Anyone else got any ideas for this guy? Let's hear it!

Should be lots of spots available in Waynesville or Maggie Valley. Both those places are just a short ride from the campground. Do some googling to see what you can find.

The good thing is, your damn motor can't read. If it says oil on the container, it's pretty much OK to dump in there.... ED.

Try Black Forest campground Just south of Brevard. They dont officially open til March, but have been know to be accommodating for a 1 or 2 night stay early. I've also heard Davidson River (south of Cruso on 276) as being a good place, but no personal experience with it.
