Need an instrument cluster

Hi all, I'm looking at purchasing a 2011 BMW R1200 GS Adventure that is in need of some repairs. The front screen, support bracket and instrument cluster are missing. Does anyone know about replacing the instrument cluster and any problems that i might encounter, programming etc. Also, are the instruments the same through the series ie 2010, 2011, 2012 models. Lastly, where would i pick one up for a reasonable price?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, I love these bikes and this would be a great opportunity for me to own one.

Check out www.beemerboneyard.com

If you want to place an ad, please do it in the Flea Market in case someone is parting his out.

By replacing the speedo, you will lose the stored odometer reading. There was some talk that the ECU also stores it and the dealer can restore it to the new speedometer cluster thru his computer, but it's not proven to be true. The speedo is the same for those 3 model years...

Reasonable price?? BringMoreWallet

Thanks mate, I will check that site out.
Really looking forward to getting on one of these bikes. The wife and I will be doing a fair bit of touring on it.

not familiar at all with the 1200, I like my analogue 1150, but what about considering replacing the dash panal with an IMO or other alternate gages?
if you are going to also have things like toll booth transponders, radio, telephone holders etc, you could have all those things built in and more tidy than stock?

There are heaps of threads about cockpit builds, some in the racing forum. you dont ahve to go racing, just for ideas
