the motor looks like a J.A.P, but the bike is not a JAP speedway bike so not sure on the rest of the bike...they put their motors in other bikes

motor looks JAP or early british like a bsa single,
the jap motor could be mated to any "pre unit" transmission, much like the cafe racer with jawa twin cam
