Nevada and Oregon TAT

I need to go and do Nevada and Oregon to finish my TAT ride. I would like to do it next Spring.
How early in the year could I expect to have good weather to get this ride done?

Thanks

Depending on your idea of good weather, I would think that I could ride the NV portion oif the TAT as early as March, or April for sure deoending on the severity of the winter and the week you want to ride.

Hit me up when you want to go out and ride it. I'd love to tag along on my SE and haven't ridden the OR section yet.

Brent

OK thanks Brent. That sounds good.
If I can do this early in the year it will leave the Fall for something with more elevation.

I'm planning on starting from Bartlesville, OK on the first week of May. Check my thread out to see if you want to meet up.

We did the NV and OR section in early May 2008, Nv should not be a problem by end of May but there was still 3-4FEET of snow in parts of the Cascades around Crater lake. There was still 10' on the top of Crater. Even closer to the coast there were many blocked roads because of snow in the north sides of the Mts. I suppose it depends on the year but we were told it was pretty "normal" when we went thru. Even was blocked several times with swollen rivers way too deep to cross in the normal spots. you will need some guidance from the locals for best time to attempt it. Any one starting from OK will likely hit some pass blockages in CO and UT also that time of year.
