Australia to UK in 4 minutes

Hi there

Cramming 5 months, 20 countries and 21,000km into a 4 minute video was a bit of a challenge, but I hope you enjoy it.

The ride was from Wollongong near Sydney, Australia to Woolwich in London. I was riding a 2006 DR650 and my wife was on a 2008 XT250.

So crank up your speakers, sit back and hopefully enjoy out little ride.

Thanks so much to my sister for the great music and thanks to you for watching.

Well Done!

So did you have a guide in China? How hard was it to get permits?

I am currently reading your book so have enjoyed watching the video to fill in a few 'imaginary' gaps.

Thanks.

Yes we had a guide but he was VERY low key and not what you'd think a guide would be like. We used Newland travel for all arrangements. It wasn't too much hassle, just a load of forms with random questions, a load of photos and a bit of cash - $2500, 2people, 6 days inc hotels, guide and guides car/driver.

Cheers
