Random electrical issues 2006 GS

Hoping to get some answers to my sporadic electrical problems: 2006 GS 10k miles purchased with 5k miles this August. ABS sometimes flashes rapidly and red triangle stays on, the pump however works, problem disappears with next ignition on, bmw Zumo 550 randomly looses power but then comes back with next ignition on, low beam light went off for whole day, next day came back, and finally the most troubling-after riding 100 miles and stopped for 5 min it wouldn't start, starter turns but no spark. I turned ignition off, turned it back on and it started as it always did. Everything was fine for next 150 miles. If you ask me if I have piece of mind with this bike and ready to go cross country, the answer would be NO.
Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Could the battery be the one to blame. I still have some unrecognizable brand battery there and feel that I need to change it.

... or check your battery connections. But if you are on the original battery I vote that.

Battery cables, and for the ABS, have you flushed the fluid yet? These bikes are pretty sensitive to old fluid!

Read somewhere when you have random unrelated electrical issues the ground/a ground is the problem.

Flashing the brake fluid is one of the very first things I've done. Thanks to everyone for the insight.
