Help finding accessories in California.

I will be leaving my frozen homeland of Ontario next month for a few weeks. Heading down to Perris Valley California for work. Does anyone know if there are worth while Adventure Riding outlets? Or places that sell parts for F800's? I picked up a 2013 Kalamata 800 in December and have been getting it 'trail ready' over this long cold winter. Might be able to save some shipping if I can find some trick bits down there. I believe Perris is half way to LA and San Diego.

fyi, its -40 something Celsius with the windchill this morning. I don't believe my heated grips would be much help lol.

Find a UPS store close to where you will be and have items shipped to it for pick up when you are in the area. Costs next to nothing and sometimes even free. Send the the store an email letting them know you will be picking up the packages on your way by.

For BMW parts I have had great dealings with Max BMW. Excellent service and I ordering system.

Not necessarily a farkle shop but rather a motorcycle emporium (accessories too) at Chaparral in San Bernardino. Not to far from Perris. If you aren't looking for BMW-manufactured farkles, this would be a good place to check out.

If you don't already know this, Perris is in the middle of nowhere, in terms of proximity to large cities (L.A., S.F., S.D.). The three closest dealerships for BMW are probably Brown's in Pomona, Irv Seaver in Orange and Riverside BMW in, well, Riverside. If you make it to Irv Seavers, Turbo City is just down the street. They make racks and bike protection for dual sport bikes. http://www.turbocity.com/

You should check out Solo Moto Parts. A great bunch of guys they have a lot of adventure bike stuff...and they even carry the good Canadian stuff down there!

They're about an hour away from where you'll be.

Stop in @ SF BMW and see some of the Wunderlich stuff available. Not sure if you can stop n shop at Wunderlich (its in Watsonville).

FWIW I do this regularly for work but mostly with FedEx. The stores usually hold a package for 4business days before processing them to be shipped back to the sender. I'm not sure what UPS does but would be worth checking as most places won't keep packages indefinitely.

If you sign up for MyUPS you get an email the day prior to the item being delivered. It's helpful if you need to reroute the package to a location to pick up instead of your doorstep.

FedEx's app sucks and should do this but doesn't. Any FedEx or FedEx Kinko or FedEx Office will accept a HAL ( Hold at Location) but don't send something Fed Ex ground to a Fed Ex Depot or world ship center...they will refuse the package and it's gets sent back. FedEx ground and FedEx operate as two different companies in this regard.

The Yard House restaurant is also worth a stop if you like beer. More on tap than I have ever seen.
