Very, VERY Sad - Sounds as though he was a Great Husband, Dad and for sure an unbiased, truthful motorcycle reviewer.

Another unfortunate real life example of the Fragile, Precious & Short this Adventure called Life really is and can be.

Very sad indeed. He was my age. Killed on a BMW. He was one of my favorites, along with Kevin Cameron and Peter Egan.

Ride in paradise Kev! Such a great voice in our culture. I consulted his writings before every bike purchase, and considered his opinions to be amongst the best and most accurate on new machines. Cheers Mate.

There was some discussion in the Oilhead forum. This is sad, sad day. As an American, I read very little from the UK, with exception of the occasional BBC news story, Top Gear, and Kevin Ash's reviews.

To be honest (and I hope this doesn't make me a bad person), I am interested in how it happened.
