Jebeezus, this sounds great!

Might have a reason to finally pull the trigger on a maxi.

So on the accommodations, we find our own hotels in Gunnison & Durango?? or once we commit, you'll provide a list?

Great!

I have marked in my calendar. I have not yet registered.
Honda Silver Wing 36k 15 states.
Will the snow be gone in the mountains in late June? I'm sure if not it could be work around with alternate routing.

I've seen snow falling in early June in Breckenridge (10,600' at our house) but it doesn't stay all that long and I wouldn't consider it an issue even then. I've not seen any after June 12th. So while it is possible there would be snow I certainly wouldn't worry about it. You are more likely to get some afternoon thunderstorms than snow.

We rode from Colorado to California same late June time frame 2 years ago. We did have some nippy mornings but the weather was great and so was riding the Million Dollar Highway and other roads through the Rockies.

I'll be in California for Amerivespa that week.

If only it would not take me a week to get out there.
