"Oil Lamp Fuel" is descented kerosene. Pricey if you buy a lot, but you don't need much to clean the chain. If you are careful, Gasoline works great.

If there is any rust, automatic trans. fluid is great as a cleaner and lube.

Juzt went ti my Father in laws to pick up some stuff hes clearing out.... in the mix.... 5 gallons of kerosene... if you want to come up for it ill give you a buvket to clean ur chain in just bring your favorite lube

Wow - That brings back memories. My very first bike - Honda CA77 (305cc) was delivered that way. Seller drove down from Troy to Westchester with it in the back of a 4 dr. Caddy, clothes line tying the doors somewhat closed. It was a swap for my '55 Ford. The plan was that I could evade Da Man more easily on a bike, which was important since I had my license revoked. It worked OK for a few years, until they impounded the bike.
