I've got a mt43 and I had something similar happen to the middle lugs of my tire but no where near that severe. I think it was from rubbing on the mud flap on my husky.

Ive had TKC80's come apart like that.

Ive run dirt tires on everything,at highway speeds etc.Never had any major problems.Other then wear.

Sale priced tire from discount dealer.Whats the date on them?

The date code is a US DOT requirement, every tire, bike or auto, uses the same code. Look for the imprint starting with DOT, the last 3 or 4 digits of the number series are the week and year the tire was manufactured. For example, 2612 being the last digits would mean the 26th week of 2012.
