Not all that much left in the barns. They've sold off quite a few bikes.

So being as I have a new bike, need new tires soon for said bike.

What tires work well for gravel amd are dot approved? I'm thinking of going with d606's

606 is not a bad choice for real dualsporting, but which bike? little or big bike?

Pirelli MT21's might be better on that bike.

What is the OEM rear tire size? 120/80-18?

Pretty sure that's the size. I've heard mt21's are pretty lack luster on the road and with wear. I know I can't get everything, but it will get a good deal of miles on pavement. Honestly, I'd love to run a set of track masters if they could be used for a decent amount of time and were safe.

MT21's on that bike should last you 1.5-2k miles on the rear and more on the front.

D606's are great but at 120/90-18 you will most likely need to change you gearing to deal with the taller tire on a 250.

I am running a D606 rear and a Scorpion Rally front on my WR250R and I love that combo. I was surprised at how well they work on pavement.

Isn't it a klx331 then? :)

I wouldn't do a d606 front. I don't know many people who have been happy with that tire.

Still says 250 on the bike. Ill give the 21's a shot. Should I be looking for a more aggresive tire up front though?

If you do a search for tires on the WR250 mega thread, you will find a lot of discussions that should apply to your new bike.

I did not like the D606 as a mostly gravel/pavement tire, although it's awesome in the mud and nasty off-road stuff. I like the BS TW301 and 302 that come stock on the WR250R as long it's dry. They suck in the wet. They are also spendy, but wear well.
